HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY!
Our work has a valentine dessert competition and my entry was a scruptious white chocolate strawberry cheesecake!
It actually had a very distinctive white chocolate taste which was awesome!
Fresh Strawberry filling:
I made it the same way I made the raspberry filling HERE except without the cornstarch
and then I strained it through a fine mesh sieve to get rid of all the seeds so it was smooth
White Chocolate Cheesecake
White Chocolate Ganache:
10 oz. white chocolate chopped
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 tbs butter; room temperature. in 3 peices
1 in a saucepan over medium heat bring the cream to a boil
2 then pour it over the white chocolate
3 whisk the mixture until it is smooth
4 then whisk in the butter until incorporated
5 you can wait for it to cool or you can whisk it over and ice bath
to make it able to be poured over the cheesecake faster and therefore
preventing it from just running everywhere
