We've had rifts in our relationship, mostly due to the fact that we think alike and are both always right, but overall my dad has been one of the most supportive people in my life. He was really just loving me! He does love me for who I am and will always encourage me in what I'm doing. I love the way he loves my husband and treats him with respect and encouragement as well. He cares and he loves, sometimes you can't always see it but he does. So much of what I believe and how strongly I believe it comes from his influence in my life. I couldn't have picked a better one!

This is sweet. I feel the same way about my mom. Grew up and we constantly fought...but now that im older and less immature, I realize that we are quite similar and she was just being a good mom.
