Backpack outing

While I was away in Colorado Springs Joshua stayed here and set out on a backpacking trip with a few people. They had to stay pretty low because the snow line is still pretty low but they ended up covering a lot of mileage.

They backpacked Pete Lake, which was a little washed out but got to see fun mountains looming over the lake. Cooked up some fajitas and got rained on quite a bit. Then on Sunday they hiked Escondido Lake. Overall it was a pretty adventurous trip and they probably hiked about 20 miles. And of course the trip ended with a stop at a pizza & beer joint :)
