Dad's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

all of the wonderful things that make you up took me so long

to appreciate and so long to see past my own selfishness to 

see you are only trying to help or only trying to love me

now that I too am older I hold them close and appreciate

them deeply. They still affect my life and my choices because 

of the values you instilled in me and the love you showed me

The way you continue to grow and better yourself

makes me feel confident that I can do the same.
