In an exciting turn of events someone from Josh's work texted me to invite us over. The truth- it's because she's one of the 2 girls that work at his place. But still exciting and we had a great time. Mostly boys so of course there was a ton of meet, and an oddly large amount of buns (they blame costco)
But a great unexpected twist to add to our Saturday, plus it was close enough we could bike over.
She asked us to bring potato salad. Not a huge fan of the stuff, we don't do mayo. So I went searching and found one using homeade pesto with the potatoes, which we both agreed sounded way better. Turned out to be quite tasty. Now I have a great side for a picnic.

Pesto Potato Salad
can be served warm or cold
1 lb small red potatoes
1 lb green beans
1/2 cup packed basil
