Cincy Christmas

We had a great and very busy time in Cincy for Christmas. We were home for about 2 weeks and spent almost every night sleeping somewhere different. Roslyn was a real trooper, except for when I wanted to put her in a santa hat.

She tried Skyline chili for the first time and loved it!

We ditched her with my parent's to go to a childhood friends wedding and as a Christmas gift to ourselves we got an air bnb downtown for the night.

Visited the Krohn conservatory. She tried to touch everything and really liked the trains.

We hung out with family a lot.

By the 3rd present stop she started to get the hang of it and enjoy the bows and paper.

We had a great time and miss it everyday!

Dressin up Hermes

It took us over a week but we finally got around to decorating Hermes. He leans, drops lots of needles, and barely holds onto ornaments, we like him. Roslyn enjoyed watching it all happen and tired to get her mouth on every ornament she could find.

For her first Christmas we really outdid ourselves. We wrapped her 1 gift in grocery store ads. She seemed pretty pleased. We got her the Dr. Seuss books selfishly because we like reading them. I as a new year's resolution want to be able to read Fox in Socks with no mistakes.

Cincy Christmas

Headed home to Cincy for Christmas, despite the very high plane ticket costs this year. We landed and immediately ran off to meet some friends that had to go out of town for brunch, then to some other friend's for dinner. Then next few days were full of family Christmasy things. We got some snow, which was lovely. Played lots of games with family and with friends. I drove down to Louisville to visit Erika where we ate tacos, donuts, and had a few animated rounds of bowling. Attended a friend holiday party and snuck in a few baby showers before I'm to pregnant to fly. Rung in the new year while playing Oregon Trail with friends.

It was full and exhausting, we both got bad colds, but so full. Bouncing one activity to the next is always hard but each stop and each person is such a blessing and we feel lucky that many people are willing to spend time with us during the holidays.

We started our year back in Seattle by staying home sick and lazily putting stuff back where it belongs.
