Sunshine Thursday

Yesterday we both left work a little early to go check out an apartment, it was a dud. But then we got to hit up happy hour at our favorite tapas restaurant while the sun was still shining in all the windows. It was fabulous and delicious! Plus I had just gotten my hair cut so we HAD to go out when someone actually made it look nice for me. :)

Homebrewers!!!

 

I bought Joshua a homebrew kit for his birthday and this Sunday we brewed our first beer in it. Joshua used to brew beer with his friends in Cincy and he has been wanting to get back into it. I definitely enjoyed it more because he already knew what to do. We started with something easy, a hefeweizen, bought our supplies at the home brew store, ground up our grains and got to work. The whole apartment smelled malty and hoppy as it boiled and it was fabulous.

We played a few rounds of darts on our new dart board while we waited. Very lovely Sunday!
We just hope we did it right.
