Katy & Nate Weekend Take Over part 1

We were super excited to have our amazing friend's Katy and Nate come visit us this past weekend! We have been begging them to come out since before we left. They got to come for 5 days and it was truly fantastic! It was such a blessing to hang out with people that know us so well which meant relaxing, inside jokes, purposeful abbreviating of every word, lot of euchre (LOTS) and just overall amazing quality time with some of the people we love most.

So here it is photo recap of friend vacation weekend!!!:

 Nate's Boss lives in Seattle so he took us out to dinner, Katy and I were fancy, the boys wore t-shirts. But it was a lot of fun and free yummy dinner!!

On Friday we went downtown and started at Pike Place Market. It rained every day they were here pretty much so we spent a lot of time sitting around different places drinking coffee and playing euchre (we kept buying cards because we forgot to bring them, but it was worth it!)

Bought a pack of bubalicious and headed to the gum wall. Nate put his on still as a bubble, such talent!

This was the best shot of us blowing a bubble, the other faces we made were even worse!

Katy and I spent most of the day trying to irritate the boys and judging girls wearing leggings as pants (they aren't pants) But we also kept tabs on how many times we embarrassed them with our laughs. I think we hit aroudnd 20 by the end of the day (We are both naturally loud and both have goofy laughs that we then start laughing at each others and it never ends) A few times they walked the other way, covered their faces, walked faster, etc- don't worry we pointed and made sure people knew they were with us :)

We went to the sculpture park and found the ampersand sculpture, we decided this was what it was meant for!

Then we went to Tap house and all got a 4 beer sampler. Watching us try to figure out how to pass them all around was beyond comical. But also the UC basketaball game was on and we played euchre so overall it was a really sweet evening!

Mallorie's Birthday!!!

My sister Mallorie turns 22 today!

We're both very sad we can't be there to celebrate with her but we're also excited to get to skype later and see her beautiful face.

She has always been more than my sister, she truly is my best friend. We chose to live together in college, took spinning classes together, did our own bible study together and a bunch of other crazy things in between. Being apart from her is one of the hardest things about being in Seattle. She knows how to push my buttons on purpose but she also knows how to make me relax, how to listen, and how to stay up late with me when I don't want to sleep and make up dumb words togeteher (mishehow for example and we have never told anyone else what it means, Joshua frequently begs me to tell him)

This woman means the world to me and I hope you have the most fantastic birthday (minus the dumb exam)
I'm thinking of you and can't wait to be a part of your wedding and many other big things in your life.
I still promise to live with you when I get old and have wheelchair races (I've already filled Josh in)
