Sunsets & the Mud Run

Hubs and our friend Kenneth ran the Mud Run on Saturday morning, 11 miles! through mud filled with rocks, ice pools, mud pools, carrying logs, carrying each other, throwing themeselves over walls, etc. He was so muddy when he got home that it was all matted to his legs, but they had a good time.
And we all went out for Mexican afterwards to celebrate!

We finished off the weekend at Golden Gardens Park watching the sunset and just relaxing in the waning sunshine. But then hubs spotted an ice cream stand- so despite already shivering we got one anyways, and it was amazing!
