Easter Weekend

I can't really describe why but this was one of our favorite weekends in Seattle. On multiple occassions we would just look at each other and say we were happy. So many things made this weekend feel like us and ourselves and finally soaking up some sun definately helped.

We took a trip to Idea, biked to the Fremont Troll (in my favorite movie 10 things I hate about you!!!), had bbq, truffle fries, and mac and cheese dinner in the daylight!, made homeade cinnamon rolls, hung out with our fantastic- enthusiastic church family, ran around greenlake, took walks in the sunshine, cuddled and watched the documentary Babies (hilarious and so cute), made rosemary lemon chicken together, and overall became rejuvinated!

The Fremont Troll! He's holding a real VW bug in his hand

Erika this picture was taken in loving mockery of you and Megan at Ikea :)

My family has cinnamon rolls every Sunday and since we couldn't be with them we made these to still feel like a part of them. And they were so so tasty (Plus it makes enough dough for 2 batches! I see a Saturday brunch party on our horizons!)

the dandelions are out, my favorite flower

Don't worry we didn't eat the 8 cinnamon rolls by ourselves or lovely neighbors helped us knock those out!
